To meet growing demand for their bathroom furnishings, Quebec manufacturer Vanico-Maronyx is taking a pivotal step in its history by building a new facility adapted to its needs. The company will draw a strategic advantage from the location of the new 78,000 sq. ft. building - nearly 1.75 times the current surface area - alongside Highway 640. The 270,000 sq. ft. property will provide outstanding possibilities for further expansion. This major construction represents a $10 M investment in real estate and specialized equipment. The gradual move to the new premises will begin in December 2017.
The relocation project serves primarily to add a second furniture production line, a key factor in the company’s growth. Bigger and more ergonomic, the new plant will also accommodate modernized equipment, especially for the packaging department.
Customers will now enjoy better delivery times for certain targeted products and the product range will be diversified. The move will be gradual, with most of it taking place during the holiday season (the usual two weeks off) to inconvenience the customers as little as possible.
Aware of its environmental and social responsibilities, the company, which already meets established standards for waste water filtration and air purification is planning to substantially reduce its ecological footprint with the new plant.
Since its founding in 1980, Vanico-Maronyx has drawn on human creativity and manufacturing technology to design and produce exquisite, personalized, superior quality bathroom furnishings and sanitary products. Located near Montreal (Qc), the company relies on a rigorous collective effort from its dedicated shareholding employees to realize their ambitious vision and secure a promising future for the whole community. Vanico-Maronyx products are available in specialized plumbing showrooms across North America.
